DT SWISS Kickaxe VR RWS Plug In MTB with lever 15×100 mm
The patented RWS wheel mounting system from DT Swiss is stiff, safe and easy to use. The plug-in version offers all the advantages of a tool-free mounting of the plug-in axle, if you want. If you prefer the clean look of a screw axle, simply pull the lifting unit and store it in your backpack. Or leave them at home. On the axle is a 6 mm hexagon socket which can be operated with any standard tool. On the lifting unit is also a 6 mm hexagon which can of course also be used as a Minitool on the road.
Clean and smart: The RWS Plug In.
Because there are no plastic parts in the flow of the RWS, the clamping force is independent of the temperature and thus the RWS is 100% disc-brake-compatible!
Due to the direct transmission of the lever force to the thread, the RWS can achieve a clamping force of up to 50% higher than with conventional quick-action clamping devices. This is not only safer, but also increases the stiffness, which is particularly noticeable with disc brakes.
